Predators Prey On Blue Jackets, Smash Columbus

Trey Fix-Wolansky(1,2) scored twice, Alexandre Texier(12) added a goal, and James Malatesta scored his first career goal in the NHL in a Nashville drubbing on Saturday night. Jet Greaves made 31 saves in the loss.

The night started with James Malatesta scoring his first NHL goal but ended in a 6-4 loss.

The Jackets didn't play terribly, they just gave Nashville prime scoring chances that ultimately did them in. And the power plays. Columbus kept putting themselves a man down and the Predators took advantage almost every time. That kind of stuff happens when you're playing with half of the lineup being AHL players.

The Blue Jackets fall to 23-46-12
