    Last night, the Columbus Blue Jackets played the Chicago Blackhawks. The Jackets won 5-1, thanks to solid play from Elvis Merzļikins and Zach Werenski. 

    But perhaps one of the most wholesome and iconic moments to ever happen in Nationwide Arena took place in the first period.

    With Johnny Gaudreau's widow Meredith and their kids Noa and Johnny Jr. in attendance to watch Johnny Sr's team play, arena host Mike Todd spoke during one of the commercial breaks and got the entire arena to sing Happy Birthday to little Johnny Jr. It was Johnny Jr's 1st birthday last night, and he got to celebrate it with 18,800 of his biggest fans.

    It was an awesome thing to witness live, and we hope that the entire Gaudreau family knows how much this city loves their family.
