
Pierre LeBrun has reported that the Blue Jackets have acquired Center Charlie Coyle from the Colorado Avalanche. He has one year left on his current deal at $5,250,000 per season.
Coyle played in 83 games for the Bruins and Avs last season, scoring 17 goals and totaling 35 points.
He played 7 games in the playoffs and had one point.
Coyle is 33-years-old and has played in 950 games and has 485 points.
The Jackets will also get forward Miles Wood from the Avs.
The CBJ are sending Gavin Brindley, a 2027 2nd, and a 2025 third.
