Jeff Curry-Imagn Images - Report: Jordan Dumais To Have A Second Hernia Surgery

The Athletic's Aaron Portzline reported today that forward Jordan Dumais will have a second hernia surgery, which will keep him off the ice until January. He had his first surgery in January to fix the hernia.

Per Portzline's report, "Dumais complained of further discomfort this summer at the club’s development camp." According to GM Don Waddell, “We sent him to see a specialist in New York, who confirmed it."

"Waddell said Dumais is in Montreal, where he’ll have the surgery and recover near family. When he’s cleared to play, he’ll join AHL Cleveland to make his pro debut," says Portzline.

Jordan Dumais has had continuous bad luck since being drafted. Between multiple injuries and a DUI charge, he hasn't exactly had a lot of positive energy surrounding him.

The Cleveland Monsters will await Dumais' arrival after he's recovered from this latest surgery, where they are hoping he can help them to the Calder Cup.
