The pair will serve as asst. coaches

The Rochester Americans of the AHL today named Nathan Paetsch and Vinny Prospal as asst coaches. Both of whom are former Blue Jackets. They will be in the same organization as Kevyn Adams, GM of Buffalo, and another former Jacket.

Nathan Paetsch played 10 games as a Blue Jacket after being traded to Columbus from Buffalo in 2010. He played 10 games and did not score a point.

Vinny Prospal, an absolute fan favorite in Columbus during his time, faired a bit better. He played in 130 games for the CBJ, scoring 28 goals and totaling 85 points. But nothing will compare to a famous incident, where in a game, we got to witness Prospal point to the scoreboard in response to a game turning very chippy against the Red Wings. “The Point” will live on in Columbus lore for ages.
