Sergei Bobrovsky Wins The Battle Of The Ex-Blue Jackets, Will Now Have A Second Chance To Win A Stanley Cup

The Florida Panthers beat the New York Rangers last night 2-1 to win the Eastern Conference.
Sergei Bobrovsky will get another chance to win a Stanley Cup, and this time he beat Artemi Panarin, Jack Roslovic, and Alex Wennberg to get there.
In a series that had just about everyone picking the Rangers to win, Bobrovsky and the Panthers outmuscled New York the entire series.
So how did the former Columbus Blue Jackets do in the series?
Sergei Bobrovsky - 4 wins - .918% sv - 2.00 GAA - 150 saves made
Kevin Stenlund - 0 points - 3 shots
Artemi Panarin - 1g-3a - 16 shots
Jack Roslovic - 1 assist - 5 shots
Alex Wennberg - 1 goal - 7 shots
Sergei Bobrovsky was the best player in the series in terms of ex-Jackets. Now he will get to play either the Edmonton Oilers or the Dallas Stars. The Oilers currently have a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference Finals.
There are people in Columbus who really want to see Bobrovsky win a championship, but it won't be easy. If the Panthers get the Oilers, Bob will have to try to stop McDavid, Draisaitl, and company, which won't be an easy ask.
Because the Rangers did not make it to the Cup Final, the draft pick the CBJ acquired for Jack Roslovic will be a 2026 4th-round pick, instead of a 2026 3rd-round pick.
