The Jackets were in South Florida to take on the Florida Panthers. There were a couple of changes to the lineup for this game, including a defenseman who had only played one game all year. Despite a huge comeback by the Jackets, they weren't able to hold on to beat Florida in OT. You can read the three observations from the game here.

On Sunday, the CBJ went to MSG to take on the New York Rangers. Elvis played a very good game, but the team failed to protect a one-goal lead at the end as NYR tied it with 11 seconds left and then won it in a shootout.
