
Tim Berni has signed with Genève-Servette HC of the Champions Hockey League in Europe. The Switzerland native will play in his home country, and play in Genève.
Berni played in 59 games for the Jackets last season and had four points. He also played in Cleveland for 17 games and had four points. Berni, should he decide to come back to North America will be a restricted free agent, and could get another contract from the Jackets should they decide to go that route. His agent tells THN Columbus that Berni "hopes to make an NHL comeback next season."
