Vegas Puts Their Foot Down And Dominates Columbus

Erik Gudbranson(5) scored early in the first, and Carson Meyer(1) would score his first of the season with 12 seconds left in the loss. Vegas dominated the Blue Jackets.

Vegas would only allow three shots in the second period and nine in the third for a total of 22 for the game. Conversely, the Knights would pump 47 shots on Daniil Tarasov, making that two games in a row of allowing 47+ shots on goal.

Tarasov stopped 43 of 47 Vegas shots to keep the game close. He faced 22 shots in the second, but would only give up two goals to keep it 2-1.

There weren't a lot of positive things to take away from this game other than the play of Daniil Tarasov. He played well and made some massive saves to keep the game within reach.

Daniil Tarasov after the game, "I'll be honest, that's probably the toughest game I've played in the NHL."
