"In terms of morale in the room, nothings really changed"

Defenseman Zach Werenski mentioned that the games where they lost the lead late "sucks."

He said they talked today as a team and said it's those "costly mistakes at key times that's hurting us." He goes on to say "If you eliminate those from our game, it's probably a different team."

About the PK, he says the team has bought into it and that everyone is on the same page, and that's why it's been so good. He said he thinks that if the team takes the same mindset that the PK has and applies it to the 5v5, they should be successful.

Werenski said he knows that players like, Johnny Gaudreau, Patrik Laine, and himself will break out eventually and that he's not worried.
