The Cleveland Monsters have announced the signing of Owen Sillinger, older brother of current CBJ center Cole Sillinger. The contract is for the 2023-24 season.
The Bemidji State product has played in 89 games for Cleveland. Sillinger has scored 14 goals with a total of 45 points. He led the team in games played and was 5th in points scored last season. Sillinger was an important part of last seasons Monster team due to the all the injuries for both them, and the CBJ.
Owen may get to play with brother Cole this season, with the log jam in Columbus and the fact that Cole struggled last year. That would be pretty cool for the Sillinger brothers.
