Defenseman Jake Christiansen Has Been Loaned To The Cleveland Monsters

The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that they have loaned defenseman Jake Christiansen back to the Cleveland Monsters.

Christiansen has played in 12 games this season for the CBJ and has two assists. In his last two games, against the Pittsburgh Penguins and Colorado Avalanche, he's only averaged around 8 minutes per game of ice time.

The Blue Jackets don't play again until Thursday, but the Monsters have a game on Wednesday, so this could be just to get him some quality time on the ice.

What's Next - The Blue Jackets are home again Monday night to play the Colorado Avalanche.
