Head Coach Pascal Vincent told the media today that forward Justin Danforth has been diagnosed with a concussion, and as of now they don't know how long he will be out of the lineup.
Danforth appeared to suffer the injury against the Edmonton Oilers last Thursday night. He missed the game Saturday against the Nashville Predators, leaving the CBJ a man short on the day. They couldn't get anyone to Columbus in time for the game as Cleveland was playing in Ontario this past weekend.
On the season, Justin Danforth has a stat line of 10-11-21 in 63 games.
Carson Meyer was called up yesterday on an emergency basis, but based on the concussion diagnosis, the move could mean extended time for Meyer.
