Vancouver Canucks 2025–26 Season Series Preview: Dallas Stars

While not impossible, it’s unlikely that Dallas and Vancouver will be pushing for the same playoff spots, as it would take a pretty big shift in the Central Division for the Stars to become a wild card team. The Stars are the fourth team Vancouver will face in 2025–26, as the Canucks start a four-game road trip with a match against the Stars on October 16. Later on in the season, Dallas will visit Vancouver on November 20 and March 2.  1y

2025 WHL Prospect Pools: Dallas Stars

At the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, the Stars used their first two picks to select players from the WHL. Vancouver Giants' Cameron Schmidt was drafted in the third round while Calgary Hitmen's Brandon Gorzynski went in the fourth round. They joined Medicine Hat Tigers' Niilopekka Muhonen, who was a fifth-round pick in 2024. 1y
