The Dallas Stars face off against the Calgary Flames, who they've beat in just five of their last 15 matchups

The Dallas Stars look to snap their two-game losing streak when taking on the Calgary Flames at home on Sunday. It could be a tougher game than expected for the Stars as the Flames have struggled lately with one win over their last six games and should make them hungry to get back in the win column.

This Central Divisional matchup is one the Stars normally dread with just five wins in their last 15 matchups against the Flames. This is the setting they would prefer however, as Dallas reps a 10-2-0 record at home compared to Calgary's 3-6-4 record on the road.

It should be a night of fireworks with these two teams combining for six or more goals in seven of their last eight games, including six straight matchups with seven or more. This trend will be tested as Calgary ranks eighth in goals against average at 2.85 while Dallas is top three with a 2.58 average.

Forward Jason Robertson will be given a solid opportunity to snap his eight-game goal drought as he normally excels in this matchup. The 25-year-old Arcadia native has seven goals and five assists for 12 points in nine career games against the Flames.

He can hopefully get Finnish centre and linemate Roope Hintz involved after recording no points in his last three games. Flames forward Nazem Kadri should be the focus of the Stars defence after he recorded three goals and three assists for six points over his last seven games.

It'll be a great matchup and if you want to check out the game at 7:00 CT on ESPN+ or Victory+ and you can also listen along on Sportsradio 96.7 and 1310 The Ticket. If you are interested in attending, tickets are extremely affordable for Stars versus Flames with the lowest pair being sold for roughly $16USD.
