Dallas Stars are searching for consistency amid a late-season slump in tough road matchup versus surging Boston Bruins.

After swinging from a brutal losing streak to a surge of wins and now slipping again with five losses in their last six games, the Dallas Stars are searching for consistency as the regular season winds down.

They remain in the hunt with the Colorado Avalanche for the Presidents’ Trophy and are also trying to hold their edge over the Minnesota Wild in case the two meet in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Their push continues Tuesday with a tough test against the Boston Bruins. Dallas dominated the first meeting between the teams with a 6–2 win back in January, but both clubs have taken very different paths since then. While the Stars have cooled off, the Bruins have caught fire, posting an 8-2-3 record over their last 13 games, tied for the most points in the NHL during that stretch.

To turn things around, Dallas will look to star forward Jason Robertson. He has been inconsistent lately, held off the scoresheet in three of his last five games, but remains dangerous, collecting 13 points over his past ten outings.

He will be matched against a surging David Pastrnak, who continues to prove why he is considered one of the most dangerous scorers in the league. Although he was held without a point Sunday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, that performance snapped an impressive 12-game point streak during which he recorded seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points.
