Stars overcome injuries with Duchene's hot streak, facing a struggling Mammoth aiming to disrupt Dallas' historic run.

The Dallas Stars have been on a historic run recently, posting a 14-0-1 record over their last 15 games.

Remarkably, they have done this without two of their top players, Mikko Rantanen and Roope Hintz, who are both sidelined, yet the team’s production has not suffered. Veteran forward Matt Duchene has stepped up in a major way, enjoying one of the hottest streaks of his career with 21 points over his last 15 games.

The Stars aim to carry their momentum into the finale of their season series against the Utah Mammoth, who currently hold the first wild card spot in the West but are struggling with a four-game losing streak entering Monday.

Dallas has won two of the three previous matchups this season, including a 3-2 victory in their last game in Dallas. All three games have been decided by a single goal, so another close contest is expected.

To counter the Stars’ offensive surge, the Mammoth will rely on Dylan Guenther, one of the breakout stars of the franchise. Guenther has established himself as an elite scoring threat with 33 goals and 25 assists for 58 points in 65 games this season. He has scored in four of his last five games and has totaled nine goals over his last 11 games.
