Relive the 1999 glory days as Dallas confirms ten dates for the record-breaking alternate sweater, anchoring a diverse rotation that includes new City and Stadium Series threads.

The Dallas Stars '99 jersey is back for its sophomore season, and one of the most popular jersey releases in NHL history has been confirmed for 10 appearances on this season's schedule.

The predominantly black jersey that leaned into the Stanley Cup winning design of the 1999 team replaced the also popular but often divisive blackout jersey design that incorporated more of a neon green element representing the Dallas city lights. After it's raging success, the Stars selected to wear it in the playoffs last season, unfortunately making an early exit after only three home games. Despite the lack of team success against the Wild in the first round, the jerseys were lauded around the league as some of the best threads worn on ice last season. It was the first time since the Victory Green era began in 2013 that the Stars opted for an alternate jersey to be worn in the playoffs, an ode to how popular it was among fans.

It might seem like 10 games is a slightly low number of games to wear such a beloved jersey, but Dallas will wear two other new jerseys this season - one as part of the league-wide City influenced launch and another for the Stadium Series game in February.

As for the city inspired sweater, it is unclear how often teams around the league will wear it, or if all teams will get home jerseys or some will also have white jerseys as well.

What we do know now, is that the Stars will come out looking dapper as can be in the '99 threads for the following games:
