Six Dallas Stars Featured in Olympic Semifinals

The men’s ice hockey tournament is nearing its climax, with the semifinals set to begin Friday with Finland facing off against Canada, while the United States is set to take on Slovakia.

For fans of the Dallas Stars, the event has provided a chance to watch some of the team’s top talent compete on the world stage, gain confidence, and return to Texas with momentum for a potential Stanley Cup run.

Dallas sent seven players to the Olympics, and six remain in contention heading into the semifinals. Heiskanen and Lindell have made their presence felt on the blueline, each recording three points through Finland’s first four games. Hintz has been saving his best for the final stretch, contributing two points in four games and poised to make a big impact in the semifinals.

Harley has been a standout for Team Canada, logging massive minutes while adding unexpectedly strong offense with a goal and three assists. While Oettinger has yet to see game action, his presence on Team USA has provided valuable depth as the Americans pursue their first Olympic gold medal since the “Miracle on Ice” in 1980.

The tournament will wrap up quickly, with the semifinals on Friday, the bronze medal game on Saturday, and gold medal action set for Sunday.
