DALLAS, TX - The Stars (12-4-2) were dealt a 2-1 overtime loss by the Golden Knights on Thursday night at the American Airlines Center.
Jack Eichel scored just under two minutes into the extra frame to seal the victory for the visitors.
Roope Hintz scored the lone goal for Dallas in the second period. It was his eighth tally of the season.
Goaltender Jake Oettinger made 24 saves for the Stars, while Adin Hill stopped 31 shots for the Golden Knights.
Dallas closes out a five-game homestand on Friday night with a matchup against the Flames.
