Dallas adds defensive talent with promising blue-liner Aram Minnetian inking his entry-level deal, bringing his championship pedigree and two-way game to the Texas Stars.

On Tuesday, the Dallas Stars have added to their defensive pipeline, signing 2023 fourth-round pick Aram Minnetian to an entry-level contract after he finished his collegiate career at Boston College.

Minnetian, a 21-year-old defensive defenseman from Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, spent the last three seasons with the Eagles, appearing in 111 games. During that span, he recorded seven goals and 28 assists for 35 points while posting an impressive plus-46 rating, establishing himself as a reliable two-way presence on the blue line.

Before his time at Boston College, Minnetian developed through the U.S. National Development Program, where he played for two seasons against top junior competition. His strong play earned him multiple opportunities on the international stage, representing the United States at the 2023 U-18 World Championships and again at the 2025 World Junior Championships, capturing gold at both tournaments.

Winning has been a consistent theme throughout Minnetian’s career. In addition to his international success, he helped Boston College capture the Hockey East Conference Championship during the 2023-24 season, further highlighting his experience in high-pressure situations.

With his collegiate career now complete, Minnetian is expected to take the next step in his development by joining the Texas Stars. He could see action down the stretch as the club plays its final 12 games of the regular season and prepares for a push toward the AHL playoffs.
