Cryptic social media clues suggest the Dallas Stars are reviving their neon glow. This new sweater could debut alongside rumored blue accents for the upcoming Stadium Series.

On Wednesday, the Dallas Stars released their first tease of their next jersey addition, the "Hometown Remix," posting a cryptic message on social media.

The post featured an image of an arrangement of numbers, while the backdrop of the accompanying video showed a piece of a jersey that resembles the neon green sweaters Dallas wore from 2021 to 2025 and suggests the look could return in a new form.

The decoded message is believed to read "Dallas Glows in Green," which could mean the Stars will debut a new green sweater that has yet to be seen. No release date has been announced for the new uniforms.

The hope among fans is that the Hometown Remix will be as big a hit as "The '99," the alternate released in 2025 to celebrate the 1999 Stanley Cup-winning team. It became an instant hit and one of the most universally loved sweaters in the NHL, quickly selling out and fans would like to see the black alternate continue alongside the new Hometown Remix jerseys.

The Hometown Remix may also be just one of several new looks this season. Dallas will play the NHL Stadium Series outdoor game against the Vegas Golden Knights in February 2027 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, and the team could unveil another sweater for that game.

Some potential designs could see the Stars add colors beyond black, green, white and grey for the first time, perhaps including blue accents as a nod to the Dallas Mavericks and Cowboys. That would potentially be the freshest look in franchise history.
