Dallas launches a historic 84-game slate featuring a massive outdoor showdown at AT&T Stadium, an early-season revenge match against Minnesota, and a high-stakes New Year’s Eve clash.

On Thursday, the Dallas Stars officially began turning the page toward the 2026-27 season, announcing their full regular season schedule and a handful of marquee matchups along the way.

It will be a historic season across the league, as this year marks the first time in NHL history that teams will play an 84-game regular season slate. The Stars will open their campaign on October 2nd against divisional rival the St. Louis Blues.

Among the season's biggest highlights, Dallas will take part in the 2027 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series at AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, when the Stars face the Vegas Golden Knights outdoors on Saturday, February 20th.

The schedule also sets up an early rematch with the Minnesota Wild, the team that eliminated Dallas in the first round of last season's playoffs. The Stars and Wild will meet for the first time this season on January 30th in Minnesota, giving Dallas its first crack at revenge on the road.

Other notable dates include a Thanksgiving weekend matchup against Utah on November 28th and a New Year's Eve showdown with the New York Rangers on December 31st.

Dallas will also get a break in early February with the return of the NHL All-Star Game, which runs from February 5th to 7th and will be hosted by the New York Islanders on Long Island.
