Joe Pavelski is having yet another excellent season for the Dallas Stars at 39 years old.
He currently leads the team in points with 29 and goals with 13. Pavelski continues to play elite hockey, playing on his usual line with Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson.
While Robertson is starting to wake up offensively, Pavelski has carried the load for the season. He has been the most consistent forward for coach Pete DeBoer.
Pavelski has four points in his last four games. He continues to produce both five-on-five and on the powerplay. Pavelski only has nine points with the man advantage this season.
The only other Stars forward who could compare to Pavelski is Matt Duchene. Duchene's 27 points rank him third on the team. He is also a +8.
Without those two in the lineup, the Stars wouldn't be in first place in the Central Division.
Pavelski will continue to chug along and tip pucks in for goals. With his linemates starting to heat up offensively, the sky is the limit for this Stars team.
