Devin Shore has been all over in his 10 year NHL career, but now the former Dallas Stars forward is taking a new step in his career, choosing to head to Europe to play for HC Sparta Praha in Czechia.

Shore was signed out of the University of Maine by Dallas and made his NHL debut when Dallas called him up near the end of 2015. He played some of three seasons with the Stars before getting traded to the Anaheim Ducks for Andrew Cogliano in 2019.
Since then, he has bounced around the league, with stints in Columbus, Edmonton, Seattle and most recently Minnesota. He has bounced between the AHL and NHL for several years now, but played 55 games for the Wild and only 15 games in the AHL last season.
Still, despite that NHL-heavy split in games played, Shore decided to sign in the Czech capital of Prague, a beautiful city and one that has a history with the NHL. The Global Series has often been played in Czechia and the Czech pipeline to the league is alive and well.
If Shore has played his last game in the NHL, he will finish with 52 goals and 92 assists over 498 games played and one assist in four playoff games.
