The Dallas Stars kept their historic run alive Tuesday with a dominant 6–1 win over the Calgary Flames, extending their franchise-record streak to 10 straight victories. Over that span, Dallas has outscored opponents 42–23, fueled by an explosive offense and a resurgent stretch from 35-year-old forward Matt Duchene.
The Halliburton, Ontario native has driven much of the surge, tallying eight goals and nine assists for 17 points during the streak. It represents his second-most productive 10-game stretch since March 2022, when he piled up 20 points in 10 contests. Duchene’s standout performance came Tuesday with the first four-assist game of his 17-year NHL career.

With all but Seguin expected back at some point, the Stars appear well-positioned to sustain their momentum and strengthen their case in the race for the Presidents’ Trophy.
The victory also moved Dallas within six points of the Colorado Avalanche for first place in the Central Division and the Western Conference. Although Colorado has won three straight, it has split its last 16 games overall. If that inconsistency continues, the red-hot Stars may soon find themselves climbing to the top of the standings.
