Detroit aims for a series sweep as Dylan Larkin hunts for another multi-point night, while a shaky defense looks to stifle the Kraken at Little Caesars Arena.

On Friday, the Detroit Red Wings will try to win consecutive games when they close out a four-game homestand against the Seattle Kraken, who finished in the bottom six of the league last season.

It is the first half of a back-to-back for Detroit, which travels to Montreal on Saturday for a marquee matchup with the Canadiens, last season's Eastern Conference Finals runner-up.

Friday will mark the 11th meeting between Detroit and Seattle in franchise history, and recent results favor the Red Wings. They have won five straight against the Kraken and hold a 6-2-2 all-time record in the series.

Dylan Larkin will look to stay hot after a two-point night in his return to the lineup. He has historically thrived against Seattle, with four goals and nine assists for 13 points in ten career games, and he has recorded a point in all but one of them.
