Detroit targets a tired Senators squad to snap a two-game skid as hot-streaking Viktor Arvidsson leads the charge against backup goaltender Samuel Ersson in a crucial divisional clash.

On Tuesday, the Detroit Red Wings will look to bounce back Tuesday after dropping its first two games of the season, as they hope to catch the Ottawa Senators off guard.

The Senators are playing the second game of a back-to-back, which gives Detroit a prime opportunity to strike while Ottawa is vulnerable. The Red Wings are also hoping for a much stronger offensive showing against Samuel Ersson, who is expected to start in place of Linus Ullmark.

Detroit has taken three of its last four meetings with Ottawa, but home ice hasn't been kind to the Red Wings in this rivalry. They have just three wins in their last ten matchups against the Senators in Hockeytown.

The Red Wings will be getting reinforcements with two-way center Dylan Larkin expected to make his season debut after suffering an upper-body injury at training camp. He will be joined on the top line with his usual linemate in Lucas Raymond as well as newcomer Viktor Arvidsson.
