
Detroit Red Wings are reaching out to fans for input on centre ice design for 100th anniversary season.

The Detroit Red Wings are turning to their fans as they prepare for a historic season, asking for input on one of the most visible elements of their centennial celebration, the center ice logo.
In a tweet posted Thursday, the team invited fans to vote on which version of the logo should be used on the ice at Little Caesars Arena for the 2025-26 campaign, marking the franchise’s 100th anniversary.

This is just one of many interactive and nostalgic touches the organization has planned for the milestone year. From special events to limited-edition merchandise and player tributes, the Red Wings are promising a season-long celebration of one of hockey’s most storied franchises and hope to make it a season that fans will never forget.
Other events being held by the franchise for the celebration is a Hockeytown Centennial FanFest, where for four days, fans will be able to participate in an immersive experience at MotorCity Casino Hotel from November 6-9.

The team is describing the event as a "once-in-a-lifetime event that honors the rich legacy of one of hockey’s most iconic franchises, uniting generations of fans and more than 50 alumni for an unforgettable experience."
