Red Wings score big with 17 games in the national spotlight for the 2025-26 season.

As the Red Wings enter their 100th season, Hockeytown may be back on the map as in the 2025-26 season, they are set to be in the national spotlight more than in recent years.

The NHL released its national broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 season and Wednesday morning, Detroit posted which games they would be appearing in. A staggering 17 nationally televised games are on the docket for the Red Wings this upcoming season, a significant boost that reflects their rising profile and growing expectations.

After narrowly missing the playoffs last season, the Red Wings are entering this year with a revamped roster, emerging young talent, and the confidence of a franchise ready to contend closer than ever for a playoff spot. The national networks are clearly buying into the buzz and are giving off the impression that they too believe in the hype
