On this week's show, my co-host Connor Earegood and I debrief the week that was at USA Hockey for the 2024 World Junior Summer Showcase.  We start by reviewing our big picture takeaways from the week, from the unique crowd environment to the excitement of best-on-best under-20 hockey in July and August.

We then discuss the four Red Wing prospects' weeks at camp, touching on Trey Augustine's cool demeanor, first impressions of Jesse Kiiskinen, Max Plante's skating to match his hockey sense, and John Whipple's defense.

From there, we zoom out from Detroit to discuss Team USA's bid to repeat as gold medalists, from David Carle's significance behind the bench to strength down the middle and questions on the back end.
