Swedish Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond and defenseman Simon Edvinsson had a great time with country star Luke Combs in Gothenburg.

While forward Lucas Raymond is entering the third season of his eight-year extension that he signed in 2024, defenseman Simon Edvinsson remains a restricted free agent.
Detroit has retained Edvinsson's restricted free agent rights by issuing him a qualifying offer, but rival NHL clubs remain free to present him with an offer sheet.
While his contract situation remains unresolved, Edvinsson has been making the most of his summer break. He and Lucas Raymond were recently spotted enjoying a Luke Combs concert at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Raymond and Edvinsson, along with Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin, joined Combs on stage and shotgunned cans of Miller Lite.

Edvinsson has emerged as the club's second most reliable blue liner behind Moritz Seider. This past season, he appeared in 72 games and reached a new career-high in goals with nine.
He also added 16 assists while averaging 22:21 of ice time per game. He was limited to 72 games due to a recurring injury resurfacing during a game in late January, prompting surgery.
His rehabilitation went smoothly, allowing him to rejoin the Red Wings before the calendar turned to March.
Edvinsson was selected by the Red Wings in the opening round (sixth overall pick) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
Meanwhile, Raymond saw a slight dip in production, going from 80 points in 2024-25 to 76 points this past season. But he dismissed any injury concerns that may have hampered his effectiveness down the stretch, noting that there weren't many players at that point in the season who were completely healthy.
