Not only is DeBrincat routinely lighting the lamp, but thanks to his most recent clutch performance, he's set some club history in the process. DeBrincat scored his 38th and 39th goals of the season in Detroit's huge 4-2 road win over the Philadelphia Flyers at Xfinity Mobile Arena, the second of which came mere seconds after the Flyers had cut Detroit's lead to a single goal. Now sitting at 80 points scored so far this season with seven games remaining, DeBrincat became the first U.S.-born Red Wings player in club history, which is now officially 100 years, to record an 80-point campaign. DeBrincat's second goal, which halted the momentum the Flyers were generating, was from a sharp angle along the goal line after doing a full 180-degree spin; the puck deflected off a Flyers' stick and past goaltender Samuel Ersson.
