Connor McDavid was named MVP of the 2026 Olympic men’s hockey tournament after leading Team Canada to silver with a record-breaking 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists) in six games—the most by any NHL player in a single Olympics.

Despite being held scoreless in the 2-1 OT loss to Team USA, McDavid’s dominance, leadership with Sidney Crosby out, and consistent offensive impact earned him Best Forward honors and a spot on the Olympic All-Star Team.

His performance cemented his reputation as one of the world’s best.
