Connor McDavid has won the Ted Lindsay Award for the fifth time.
The award, voted on by NHL players, is widely considered one of the most meaningful individual honours in the sport — because it comes from the people who have to play against him. McDavid joins an extraordinarily short list of players to win it five or more times, cementing his standing not just as the best player in the game, but as the player his peers recognize as such.
