According to Sports 1440's Tom Gazzola, the Edmonton Oilers are toying with the idea of their new third jerseys being quite different from those of the past. 

For fans who know the film Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell, the Flint Tropics were the imaginary basketball team. It's a wild idea that seems hard to believe, given how incredibly different they are than anything that resembles the Oilers colors and previous looks.
