Mattias Ekholm spoke ahead of Tuesday's pre-game skate and game versus the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday. When it was pointed out that it looked like things were coming together for the Oilers, he agreed. That said, it wasn't like the team was done trying to improve.
"Yeah, I would agree with that. I think still only, I mean, what is it? Three or four good games. So I mean, we're not leaning back thinking we're the team to beat or anything like that."
The Oilers have done some really solid things, but have work to do. "We're still working for ours, and we gotta earn it and show it every night. So you look down, we have eight games left, but it seems like every game is against the division rival or opponent that are neck and neck with us. So, I mean, we have another big one tonight, and just trying to build our game."
Can the Oilers find another game and more parts of their game versus the Kraken? Do you agree with Ekholm's comments?
