Oilers Release Several Players From Their Amateur Tryouts

The Edmonton Oilers release an update on their cuts Tuesday, noting that the organization has released several players from their amateur tryouts. 

Among the cuts are forwards Weston Cameron and Olli Wahlroos. Defenseman Kyle Heger has been released, as has goaltender Ryan Cameron, who will go to the USHL with the Sioux Falls Stampede.
