The Edmonton Oilers selected center Rudolfs Berzkalns with the No. 58 pick in this year's NHL draft. He's a Latvian prospect. He goes by Rudy and he's got good hockey sense and awareness. He's 6'4" inches, and he's a big body that can move around well.
During the 2025-26 season, he played in 48 games, scoring 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points. A towering two-way center with pro-level size, Berzkalns ended up at No. 30 in NHL Central Scouting's final rankings.
The Oilers got him 28 picks later.
