Bill Scott has emerged as the latest candidate linked to the Vancouver Canucks general manager search.

According to John Shannon, Scott is expected to interview via Zoom and has also spoken with the Nashville Predators for their GM opening.

A longtime member of the Edmonton Oilers organization, Scott has served as assistant GM since 2014 after starting as AHL GM in 2010. Known for his expertise on the business side, he handles contract negotiations, salary cap management, arbitration, and CBA-related matters.

He is certainly a well-rounded front-office candidate.
