The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Owen Michaels to a two-year deal with a $900,000 AAV. The 23-year-old joins the organization after a standout collegiate career at Western Michigan, where he posted 69 points in 119 games.

A Hobey Baker nominee and team captain this past season, Michaels also earned Frozen Four Most Outstanding Player honors in 2024-25, leading the Broncos to their first national championship with multiple clutch goals in both the semifinal and final.

He will likely start his pro career in the AHL next season.
