Oilers Appear to Be Getting Big Pieces Back vs. Canucks

Zach Hyman, Devon Levi, and Tristan Jarry will return to the Edmonton Oilers as they take on the Vancouver Canucks in a late-evening game on Saturday night. As per the line combinations at the morning skate, Hyman was on the second line with Kasperi Kapanen and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

The Oilers also had Devon Levi on the ice, suggesting he'll be the starter. His last game was Oct. 22 against Carolina. He picked up the win in a shootout. After sitting out Thursday due to illness, Tristan Jarry is backing up. This means Matt Tomkins is being reassigned to Bakersfield of the AHL.

Head coach Mike Babcock hinted at the end of the last Oilers practice: "Usually, when they look like they're ready, that could be any time soon." That appears to be mean tonight.
