The Edmonton Oilers are sending two defensemen to join Team Canada at the Worlds.
According to TSN's Darren Dreger, Evan Bouchard and Darnell Nurse added to Team Canada’s roster for the Men’s World Hockey Championship.
The Oilers lost in the first round to the Anaheim Ducks, making both players available. Bouchard was the leading point getter in the NHL among defenseman. Nurse has been a steady top four defender throughout his career, despite the fact he takes a lot of heat for being overpaid at $9.25 million per season.
