The Edmonton Oilers starting goalie vs the Seattle Kraken has been confirmed.
The Edmonton Oilers take on the Seattle Kraken at 8pm Mountain Time tonight (November 11th, 2023). The Kraken have a 5-6-3 record coming into tonight's game. On the same night the Oilers fell to the Same Jose Sharks, the Kraken defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-3.
Goaltending has been a hot topic for the Oilers this year. At the beginning of the year many predicted a bounce-back season for Jack Campbell (myself included) along with Stuart Skinner continuing his performance from last season.
Neither has happened and now the team is in a tough spot. Earlier in the week they sent down Campbell and called up Calvin Pickard. Pickard has yet to start a game, and it appears as though he'll need to wait longer than tonight to get his first NHL start this season.
Skinner is projected to start the game tonight. Stay tuned for warm-ups to see how the line combinations are sizing up.
