Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid scores another great looking goal.

Philip Broberg should be playing top four minutes in the AHL or NHL.

The Edmonton Oilers fell to 5-11-1 after a 5-3 loss to the Florida Panthers. They scored twice in the opening nine minutes of the hockey game.

Their third goal was the best looking one of the bunch. This, ladies and gentlemen, is how you approach a penalty shot - courtesy of Connor McDavid.

The fact that this penalty shot was so simple adds to the impressive nature of the goal. Because it's McDavid, you would think that he might be tempted to get really creative with his penalty shot.

Instead, he keeps it very simple. Skate at an easy pace towards the goalie with basic stick handling moves and take a quick shot into the net.

The greatest players in hockey blow us away with dynamic moves all the time. We tend to forget that they make the simple plays look even simpler because of their high level of execution.
