"Not too many guys in this room have confidence right now."

The Edmonton Oilers will be harder on themselves than the media and fans are on them.

The Edmonton Oilers are tied for last place in the entire NHL.

That is a sentence I never thought I would type out when this season started. There were high hopes, dreams, aspirations of a great season where the team puts it all together.

That house of cards is crumbling down right now.

There are positives for the Oilers in this 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks. They out-shot their opponents, they out-chanced them, but they also had three goals scored on them on 18 shots.

Leon Draisaitl on the verge of breaking down in his post game availability said, "not too many guys in this room that have confidence right now...I'm part of that group."

Something is broken with the Oilers. What will fix it? What can fix it? I suspect that by the time the puck drops on Saturday night for their next game against the Seattle Kraken there will be some changes made.
