The Edmonton Oilers are continuing their road trip with their next game coming tonight against the Florida Panthers. The Oilers will look to improve their 5-10-1 record against the 11-5-1 Panthers.
Earlier today the Oilers announced that Calvin Pickard would make his first start of the season tonight.
On the other end of the rink it looks like Sergei Bobrovsky will be getting the nod, according to my colleague David Dwork.
Bobrovsky has a 8-4-1 record to go with a 2.63 goals against average (GAA) and a .907 save percentage (SV%).
It appears as though Kris Knoblauch is finally going with an 11-7 roster configuration for the first time this season. Philip Broberg will draw in as the seventh defenseman. Here are the lines they ran in the last game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Aleksander Barkov is day-to-day with an Injury and will not be playing tonight. These are the lines they ran in practice
Despite losing their captain, the Panthers look to have Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour back in the fold tonight.
Catch the puck drop at 5PM Mountain Time tonight.
