Here are the Edmonton Oilers line combinations for tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Edmonton Oilers will see Mattias Ekholm return to the lineup. Expected to be paired with Evan Bouchard.

The Edmonton Oilers have another early start for tonight's game. Puck drop will be just after 5:30pm Mountain Time.

Connor McDavid.Connor McDavid.

The Oilers get an opportunity to string together another win, and start gaining ground on the teams ahead of them in the standings.

They will keep their lineup in tact, except for one change on the blue line.

Vincent Desharnais will draw in and Philip Broberg will see the game from the press box. As of this writing we haven't heard the rationale for the change. My guess is that they want to get Desharnais a game and they chose to do that tonight.

Desharnais brings a level of grit that the Oilers don't really have in anyone else other than Darnell Nurse. This could be another reason for the roster change.
