The Edmonton Oilers are rolling out a 12-6 formation at practice today.

The Edmonton Oilers will be harder on themselves than the media and fans are on them.

The Edmonton Oilers look to get their first win of November in tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks. They are also looking to win their first game against their divisional opponents as they lost their first two games 8-1 and 4-3.

James Hamblin was recalled to the team yesterday and looks to be centering the fourth line for the Oilers.

Jay Woodcroft obviously doesn't listen to my podcast because he has left the defense pairings unchanged. I also recorded the latest episode before they called up Hamblin yesterday.

The 2-7-1 Oilers will turn to Stuart Skinner to stop some picks tonight. Hopefully the team helps him out more than they did for Jack Campbell in the Nashville Predators loss.

This road trip is critical to the turn around of this team at this early season junction. A win tonight is massive for the team.

Puck drop is at 8pm Mountain Time.
