The 5-12-1 Edmonton Oilers are taking on the 10-4-2 Washington Capitals for the last game of their road trip. This is a highly anticipated game, especially considering all of the noise around the team right now.
Dylan Strome and Stuart Skinner. The Oilers practiced yesterday in D.C. Here is how the lines looked:
It looks like the Oilers are going back to 12-6 for this game. Adam Erne comes in on the fourth line while Philip Broberg is a healthy scratch.
Stuart Skinner will start today, despite getting outplayed by Calvin Pickard on this roadtrip. They could be trying to get Skinner going or they just don't trust Pickard. Regardless, Stuart is the starter.
The Capitals are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games and come into today on a five game win streak.
My Capitals colleague Sammi Silber reported that Charlie Lindgren will be the starter for the Capitals this year.
These were the lines for the last game. Evgeny Kuznetsov will draw in for Hendrix Lapierre on the third line. Their defense pairings will stay the same.
The game starts at 1PM Mountain Time this afternoon, because of Black Friday.
